Betsy Head owns Affordable Interior Design, located in NYC's West Village.
She studied visual art and theatre at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. After graduation, Betsy moved to NYC and painted custom pieces and murals. She discovered that her clients' spaces needed more than beautiful art; they needed a focused design concept.
Betsy's art portfolio won her an internship at Thom Filicia, Inc., the designer from QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY. There she learned the art and business of design.
In 2004, she left TFI to open Affordable Interior Design, a company that brings great design to clients of all budget levels.
In addition to her firm, she recently shot a pilot for HGTV and writes for several interior design publications. |
